My experience of collecting departs from tradition as much as unconventional is my refusal to assemble a complete collection of specific objects. I do reckon however that the choices I make and the reasons behind them are not entirely up to chance. I archive, I show, I preserve objects bearing links to the places of my infancy (South Tyrol) and those I visited as an adult (the world). I have a preference for objects of which I recognise or recollect the smell. I assemble scents and materials reminiscent of stories and experiences. I hold samples of objects, materials and basic scents. I then add and collect new memories through the accumulation of objects, materials and perfumes.
